11-0617-21 bin thermostat is a dedicated ice level control thermostat for Scotsman commercial ice machines. Acting as an ice-full sensor, it detects ice level inside the storage bin through temperature changes. It opens the circuit to stop ice making once the bin is full; when ice is taken out or melts, it closes the circuit to restart ice production. It is a direct replacement for old part 11-0578-21 and compatible with Scotsman CME, CU, CM, MV series modular ice makers.
